English Language Foundation – USA Pathway

English Language Foundation has 2 main components: online classes run by SUU and on-campus classes at IFG Abu Dhabi.

There are 8 programme levels, each 6 weeks in length. Students are placed at a specific level based on their online English language placement test or previous English test results. Levels 3-6 are credit-bearing, and students can earn up to 24 elective credits towards a 120-credit SUU undergraduate degree.

Students completing Level 6 will be awarded tuition fees scholarship for their Undergraduate and Graduate study at SUU.

Students who successfully complete Level 6 will receive a certificate of programme completion; they will also satisfy SUU’s English language admission requirement for undergraduate and graduate study. Students who complete Levels 3-6 will receive 6 elective credits per level towards their undergraduate degree requirements at SUU.

Students receive full support with their F-1 visa application, interview preparation, documentation, and coaching — designed to maximize their US visa approval chances. The programme also ⁠includes career counselling, soft skills training, and guidance on degree majors related to the demands of the current job market.
