A short free optional course for IFG Medical Foundation Programmestudents.
From September 2026, Medical Foundation students have the option of a short additional course to further prepare them for the challenges of medical school studies.
Developed in consultation with medical schools, this short course will help you make the transition from medical knowledge to medical application and treatment.
Integrated Clinical Medicine also prepares students for the way that they will be taught at medical schools. It will improve your self-directed learning skills and also further develop your understanding of Problem Based Learning (PBL), which is used by an increasing number of medical schools.
In this method of learning, students are provided with a case study to read together and asked to identify the key areas that they will need to research. The problem or case study will be relevant to the module you are currently studying.
For instance, if you’re learning about neurology, then you may have a case where you will examine Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease.
Currently available at our London and Abu Dhabi campuses and online. For more details, please contact us.
